Fort Point PM in the Community

Partner Christine Mosholder was honored by New England Women in Real Estate (NEWIRE) for her involvement in a community service project.

Each year, the NEWIRE Development Committee issues a request for proposals (RFP) for non-profits in need of real estate consulting services. In her role as project manager on the most recent project, Mosholder helped develop a conceptual project plan for redeveloping 1534 Tremont Street and using the space as a community resource.

The Mission Hill Health Movement (MHHM) acquired the 1,800 square foot split level building as a community resource and has since secured two tenants, The Boston Self Help Center (BSHC) and Mission Hill Main Streets.

Senior Project Manager Jeff Wagner is leveraging his extensive project management skills to help those affected by the Gulf Coast Hurricanes. As a part of Operation Rebound, Jeff helped manage over 200 people as they built frames and loaded materials for five (5) houses at the former South Weymouth Naval Air Station. The frames will be shipped 800 miles to Mississippi for assembly and five low-income, homeless families are expected to move into the 1200-square-foot houses in the spring. Operation Rebound was formed when members of three South Shore churches were looking for ways to help the flood-stricken Gulf Coast.
